Our Mission

The name Gratefuel is a play on two concepts:

1. Great Fuel =

Delicious taste.
Simple ingredients, made from real food.
Nothing artificial.
Minimally processed (we roast our peanuts, for example).
Adventure fuel, inspired by nature.

2. Grateful =

Exist for more than just profit.
Support local communities in the UK where as many as 1 in 7 people are currently at risk of food hunger through partnership with FareShare. Donating 1 meal to them for every bar we sell.
In the process, remind ourselves and our customers to be grateful for the good things in our lives that we often take for granted, such as having enough food.

The Mission

1. 1 in 7 people in the UK face hunger according to research by FareShare and The Trussel Trust.

2. We donate one meal to FareShare for every bar sold. FareShare is a UK national network of charitable food redistributors, made up of 18 independent organisations. Together, they take good quality surplus food from right across the food industry and get it to nearly 8,500 frontline charities and community groups up and down the UK.

We are committed to complete transparency and accountability. Our dedication is solidified through a signed contract via Work for Good, ensuring that we uphold our promises. Additionally, we will provide frequent updates on our journey to keep you informed of our progress every step of the way.
